what is coaching?

Coaching is a collaborative partnership designed to help you bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be. While you remain in total control of your path, a coach acts as a strategic partner, utilizing deep inquiry and dialogue to help you uncover your own internal solutions and expand your professional and personal capabilities.

How is coaching different from therapy?

While therapy and coaching both facilitate personal development and positive change, they serve distinct psychological needs. Therapy is a clinical intervention designed to heal past trauma and manage mental health conditions, moving clients from a state of dysfunction to stability. In contrast, coaching operates on the premise that the client is already healthy and "whole," focusing on the present and future to drive personal and professional improvement. This partnership is highly active and finite, utilizing goal-setting, accountability, and bold "mirroring" to propel a client toward specific objectives. Ultimately, therapy provides the foundation for healing, while coaching acts as the catalyst for high-performance growth.
